About the Event

Welcome to the NIH Oxford-Cambridge Scholars Program 2025 Interview Event

Congratulations on being selected to interview for admission to this prestigious program!

The NIH Oxford-Cambridge Scholars Program is a unique and outstanding opportunity to receive doctoral training from some of the most accomplished biomedical scientists in the world. This program enables students to conduct research at the NIH – the largest, most comprehensive biomedical research complex in the world – in partnership with the University of Oxford and University of Cambridge - two universities that are centers of academic excellence.

Participation in the OxCam Program provides students the intellectual basis and training experience to achieve a distinguished career in creative biomedical research, enabling them to fully explore the great questions in basic biology and human disease that confront humanity. As such, it is a pleasure to invite you to participate in our annual interview event.

The OxCam Program Interviews are designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the program, the NIH, and the University of Oxford & Cambridge. Over the 2025 NIH OxCam Interview Event days, you will have the opportunity to interact with OxCam faculty and current students as well as speak with potential mentors. Although our interview event may conflict with that of other graduate programs, we encourage you to actively participate in as many activities as possible. Also, please be sure to meet and chat with the program faculty and current OxCam Scholars. This interview event not only provides the OxCam faculty an opportunity to meet prospective scholars, but also enables you the opportunity to determine if this program best aligns with your personal and professions aspirations.

We look forward to meeting you soon! And, congratulations again on being selected to interview!
